Benefit Docs Co., a service of Benefit Docs Company, LLC

1. The service

Benefit Docs Co. is subscription software, operated by Benefit Docs Company, LLC, that lets insurance brokers upload carrier plan documents and generate branded Open Enrollment guides and plan documents (including Wrap SPDs, Section 125 POP documents, required notices, and employer sign-offs) for their employer clients.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account, including documents you upload and guides generated from them.

3. Billing and cancellation

Benefit Docs Co. plans are billed through Stripe. Annual plans are billed in full upfront and are non-refundable, with access through the end of your term. Every document generated during your term - including renewal versions - is permanently added to your library and counts toward your plan's included document total; document libraries do not reset monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops renewal at the end of your current term and does not refund amounts already billed. Questions about billing: support@benefit-docs.com.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the carrier plan documents you upload and the guides generated from them. You grant Benefit Docs Company, LLC a license to process that content solely to provide the service, including automated extraction of plan data (see our Privacy Policy).

5. Document configurator, not legal advice

Benefit Docs Co. assembles documents based on the information you provide; it is a document configuration service, not a law firm. Template documents have been reviewed by two independent ERISA law firms, but generated documents do not constitute legal advice. See our Document Disclaimer for details.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Benefit Docs Co. to upload content you don't have the right to use, or to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the service outside the scope of your subscription.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Benefit Docs Co. is provided "as is." Benefit Docs Company, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
